Hi, I’m Lara Grace Bulut — the lead photographer and storyteller behind Lara Grace Creative Studio. Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was that kid who carried around a little digital camera everywhere, taking self-portraits in my bedroom, running outside to photograph the sky after school, and staying up late editing on an old program called Photoscape. I didn’t know it back then, but those tiny moments were the beginning of everything..

When I went to college, I finally bought myself a real camera. I had no idea what I was doing at first — I’d drag my friends out to take photos and teach myself how to use manual mode one mistake at a time. Photography still didn’t feel like a “career” to me yet… until my mom, who owned a bridal shop in Turkey, asked if I’d ever considered wedding photography. Something in me clicked instantly. I loved the idea of documenting real love, real couples, real moments.

So I tried it — and I fell in love with it.

Since 2020, I’ve photographed weddings, elopements, engagements, and all the beautiful in-between moments. Weddings became a place where I felt genuinely alive — the happiness, the tears, the chaos, the little glances that nobody else notices. I still get emotional behind the camera sometimes. I can’t help it. This job is deeply personal to me.

Along the way, I also started photographing portraits and branding sessions. I realized how much I love building a brand’s visual identity — choosing colors, crafting textures, shaping moods, and creating images that feel like theirworld. I even expanded my services to include branding kits where I help businesses tell their story through visuals, typography, and design. Seeing someone’s brand come to life through photography is one of my favorite things.

Today, I’m based in Toronto, but my heart (and my camera) are open to anywhere in the world. If your love story or your brand needs a photographer who is fully invested, who pays attention to every detail, and who genuinely cares, then I’d love to meet you.
