Creating a Mermaid Fairytale Photoshoot in a Backyard Kiddie Pool
This mermaid-inspired fantasy shoot was created in a backyard kiddie pool during a freezing Canadian “spring” day in St. Catharines — and that’s exactly why I love it so much. With warm water, moss, shells, handmade styling pieces, and a little bit of creative chaos, we turned a simple backyard into an entire fairytale world. This shoot became such a reminder that creativity does not need massive budgets, perfect weather, or expensive studios to feel magical. Sometimes the best ideas happen when you stop waiting for perfect and just start creating.

A creative branding and fashion-inspired photoshoot with Melody Oz and her clothing brand OZELO inside my Toronto condo studio. A relaxed, cinematic shoot between creatives that turned into one of my favorite portrait sessions to date.
Returning to Self Portraits Again: Refraction, Frustration, and Finding My Way Back to Creating
After stepping away from self portrait photography, I finally returned to it with a concept I had been dreaming about for a long time: surreal refraction portraits created with glass, water, distortion, and light. This shoot became more than just an experiment in conceptual photography — it became a reflection on creativity, trauma, identity, and finding my way back to creating art for myself again.

Spring Couple Sessions in Niagara & Toronto: How I Shoot, What to Expect, and Why These Photos Actually Matter
Spring couple sessions are open for Niagara and Toronto, and they’re not just for engagements. In this post, I share how I actually work with couples, what to expect during a session, the locations I’m planning this season, and how I’m adding a Super 8 film touch to make your photos feel even more like real memories.
What to Look for in an Elopement Wedding Photographer
Most couples think they need to know how to pose before an elopement.
You don’t.
What actually matters is how you move together. The small things. Walking, turning back, fixing your dress, holding something, laughing at nothing. That’s what creates photos that feel natural without looking messy.
This is usually where I step in a little. Not to control everything, but to guide just enough so you’re not standing there wondering what to do.
You’re not performing. You’re just being directed in a way that still feels like you.
How I Built a Photography Studio in My Toronto Condo (And It Actually Works)
Everyone thinks you need a full studio to start photography. I didn’t have one. I built mine in my condo, and it works. This is everything I use, how I shoot, and what actually matters.
Why Branding Photos Matter for Your Business
Branding photos aren’t just about looking good — they’re about showing up properly online. In this post, I talk about how I approach branding sessions and what actually makes a difference
Sunflowers, Smiles, and Family Stories at Howell’s Farm
This summer I photographed my friend Taryn and her family at Howell’s Farm in Niagara, the same sunflower fields we visited last year, but this time with their newest little one, baby Grace. Family photos aren’t just about pretty backdrops; they’re about marking each chapter as your family grows. The laughter, the chaos, the small in-between moments, that’s the magic worth remembering.
A Surprise Proposal at Konzelmann Estate Winery
When Ian planned a surprise proposal for Maddyy at Konzelmann Estate Winery, I got to play the ‘winery photographer’ to keep the secret. From the moment he knelt down to the champagne in the vineyard, it was pure joy, and a perfect example of why having a photographer for your proposal makes all the difference.
Love & Light at Oakes Garden Theatre
Some places just feel like they were made for love stories — and Oakes Garden Theatre is one of them. Between the golden light, the elegant stone arches, and the quiet corners that feel like your own little world, it’s the perfect spot to slow down and just be together. This engagement session was all about laughter, soft moments, and capturing the little in-between glances that make your story yours.

A Cozy, Creative Day
Join me as I photograph Kelsea, owner of Kottonsea, in a warm and dreamy kitchen setup at Mintroom Studios styled by Bouclair. This branding session captures the heart of small business storytelling through lifestyle photography in one of Toronto’s most beautifully designed studios.
The Omni King Edward Hotel
A little while ago, we got invited to stay at the Omni King Edward Hotel in Toronto and it turned out to be exactly what I didn’t know I needed. Classic architecture, dreamy lighting, room service in robes, a spa day with mimosas, and slow mornings with good food and good company. I took photos, I rested, I created and I left feeling like myself again.
